THE DUKE OF EDINBURGH'S AWARD (D of E)
The Duke of Edinburgh's Award (D of E) provides young people between the ages of 14 and 24 with the opportunity to gain recognition for their commitment and 'get up and go'. As an Approved Activity Provider (AAP) for the D of E we are lighted to be able to offer all the requirements of the expedition section.
As we are based in Shropshire, we have fantastic terrain on our doorsteps for the Bronze and Silver Expeditions and have convenient access to other areas for more challenging terrain that could be expected for the Gold Expedition. We recognise that by their very nature expeditions can be physically and mentally challenging and as such we aim to:
- Provide you with an enjoyable learning
experience; - Facilitate the expedition to your
requirements; and - Make sure you leave smiling.
We can either assist you to provide your own programme, a service that CHMAS has provided to several local schools and colleges for several years or we can provide a complete bespoke expedition package for your group.
We are registered with The Adventure Activities Licensing Service as licensed to provide specified activities under the following headings: Climbing; Trekking and Watersports.
